1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Sousa's Cleaning services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon posting.
2. Service Description
Sousa's Cleaning provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in New Jersey, including recurring maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, Airbnb turnover, and bespoke cleaning packages. Service details, scope, and frequency are agreed upon at the time of booking.
3. Scheduling & Cancellations
We ask that any cancellation or rescheduling be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost. We reserve the right to reschedule services in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, with advance notice provided whenever possible.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of each service unless a recurring service agreement specifies otherwise. We accept major payment methods as communicated at the time of booking. Invoices unpaid beyond 15 days may incur a late fee. For recurring service contracts, billing terms will be outlined in your service agreement.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property at the scheduled time, securing valuables and fragile items prior to each visit, and providing a safe working environment for our staff. Sousa's Cleaning is not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improper storage of items, or failure to disclose relevant property information.
6. Limitation of Liability
Sousa's Cleaning carries general liability insurance and bonding. In the event of accidental damage caused by our team, clients must report the incident within 24 hours of service completion. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, not to exceed the value of the service performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New Jersey.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
